I don't know about all this. I don't think you can let your players run roughshod over you for six years and still have such a successful program. Or that we haven't really heard about it until now (although there were rumblings).

Perhaps Dan Mullen had to be the bad cop, while Meyer did the "I'm you're friend" coach routine. Cuz it went off the tracks when Mullen left.

Or perhaps we just had so many better players...that 08-09 team was LOADED.

Certainly explains the sputtering offense in 09
