Why would the Broncos want him? I thought they committed to Tim.
If Peyton went to the Dolphins, I would pay attention to the NFL again.

So you would trade in a healthy 24 year old for a 36 year old with a glass neck, who is one hit away from a wheelchair? Yes, Peyton is goo, no question. But is he the future of your team?

If by future you mean, hopefully long enough to win a big silver football trophy, then yes, that is the way Denver sees it. That and it's Elway's only way out with Tebow and the fans.
No matter how much lip service came out of Elway's mouth he never has believed in Tim. This really might be his only way out. If he traded or cut Tebow for any other reason he'd be hanged in Denver. Peyton might be the only QB that he could swap out without a complete backlash.
