I've had fun the last couple of days being back in the BA. :) I've missed all of you!!! I just wanted to give a big "HOLLA" out to everyone!

I don't have time to post an update about myself now, but I will later. (Mostly boring stuff (imagine that) ...like I'm not working...not teaching.Image I hate to say "retired." That sounds sooo old.) I do miss being with kids, but otherwise, I'm doing well.

I'll be going out of town in the next few days. My dear aunt is passing, and I'll be taking my mom and sister to AL. I'm not even sure when I'll be leaving or returning. All I know is that the trip is imminent in the next few days. She has been ill for a long time, so we knew this was coming. It's still very difficult. :(

What say ya'll? I'd love to catch up on some of your latest exploits.

i've been off the boards as well and hope to be more involved...i've just been very busy at work and really hadn't had the time to get as involved on the boards as i would like...i've been traveling, and am out marketing/entertaining so it seems 3 to 4 times a week...physically, i'm not as exhausted as one would think...it's moreso mentally...having said that - my personal life is just as busy if not busier...each kid's got their own social life, activities, and needs...my wife and i have our own social life, activities and needs...it's a massive juggling act but we're managing it quite nicely...come monday, i'm DYING to get back to work.. hahaha

i'm gonna give it a try and get more involved...we'll see how this works out! nice seeing y'all

Rad, my sister always told me it was more exhausting when they were teenagers than when they were little. Hard to believe but apparently quite true.
Okay, let's try this!

Hey, I'm going to try and stop by more often, too. Life's just been overwhelming lately. I'm wrapping up my last semester of grad school, and Joey is done with his bachelor's in December. Plus we've both been working full time. I got promoted back in October. What else? The adoption process is going (slowly). Tomorrow is 4 months on the waiting list. We're trying to be as patient as possible with that. So yeah... work, school, adoption. That's pretty much our lives!

"Life" does happen, doesn't it? ---keeping everyone so busy and time flying by so quickly.

I was so busy when my kids were growing up (every age and stage), I have no idea how I would have ever signed on to a message board and communicated with people. I'm amazed at all the things you all do.

Like rad said...props! And it's good to see ya'll here! Thanks to Doc and Toothy.... :)

I'm loving it out here in NorCal. Been here just over 7 months and the dang place already feels like home. Work is solid even though it's always crazy and feels like we're always on the edge. I've got a badass bar where my bartender drives me home pretty regularly on Friday and Saturday nights (how can you beat that?!). The people out here are, in general, incredibly friendly. Moving here is probably the best thing I've ever done in my life.

The bad news, though: I don't have internet (or even a computer) at my house so I won't be here terribly often. No TV either. Still. And I'm loving it.

Hope everybody's doin' well!

Not afraid to look dumb
