We landed a stud CB with tons of SEC experience. Unfortunately, he'll be a one-and-done...but I'll take it--he was undoubtedly the best prospect on the board and will probably surprise a ton of people.

This guy's already played 3...e'r'body thought he was headed to the League but he decided to finish up his degree.

Ah, now I get the tons of SEC experience thing. Hadn't heard that either. Not sure that's what I'd recommend considering it wouldn't surprise me at all to see a rookie salary cap with the new CBA that should get worked out this year. I'd think I'd be gone if I were him.

Pure speculation: maybe it's not all about the money for him, or he got back less-than-stellar feedback from NFL teams due to him recovering from the labrum surgery or he really, really wants to earn his degree before he leaves Gainesville. Just the thoughts I've been kicking around today since it truly shocked me.
Also, can't even rookies this year be affected negatively by the potential lockout and new players' agreement? Just curious because I don't understand the timeline very much for when things are going to go down.

Last I saw he was projected as a top 15 pick.
