Does anybody here play in a bowl pool? I am in one with one of the guys I used to work with. They are all Texas fans, so this years pool should be interesting to say the least.

Now let me ask - if you are in a pool, will you pick UF to win?

Yes, I know it is incredibly lame to even ask this question, since in all kinds of weather we all stick together. And it would be inexcusably lame to pick against your own school. I will pick UF, but I have to admit, I am still pissed off about Saturday and maybe that is biasing my judgment. For a brief second I considered picking against them, as I am sure many people have thought about, but I won't as that would be truly lame.

Thoughts anyone?

I have no qualms about picking against UF when I think they're gonna lose. There's a difference between love and truth.

Not in a pool but I would be in one. I would pick against UF if I thought they would lose.

how do you pick against UF if you don't know who UF is playing?

Obviously it depends on who they are playing. Stewart Mandel from CNN SI is predicting us in the Gator Bowl against Michigan.

Well, all you haters, Michigan is 2-0 against Florida this decade. I grew up Blue and then spent eight years getting two UF degrees, and I cheer for UF when this happens.

I hope it doesn't happen again.

If there's money involved you always bet with your head not your heart. UF ain't gonna send you a check if you lose.
