Wow. I was going to comment that simply possessing a few photos probably isn't worth 12 years, but then I read the article. He wasn't just in possession, he was sharing hundreds of pics and vids of pre-pubescent children. I understand it could've been a situation where he got them and shared them through a file-sharing program, but... come on... he knew what he was doing, and there was no mistake about it.

I've wondered if he had a Napster type piece of software that shares stuff like that versus him being an all out creep that is sharing that stuff on his own.

I wondered the same thing or even if he was the victim of some crazy IP issue where someone cloned his IP address or hacked his computer...but the article makes it sound like he took responsibility. I dunno.

I found this paragraph of the article intriguing:

LOL I'd love to see if that was something the AUSA actually mentioned or if the news site chose to focus on it just by gleaning specific dates from the arrest reports, etc. to make the article a little more sensational. "At least seven Sundays and once on Thanksgiving"? Seriously? Who the fuck writes this shit.
