A poster I'm friends with has an upside down American flag in his avatar. Apparently they received ONE complaint about it being disrespectful and are forcing him to change his avatar. He's not going to change it and expects to be banned.

WTF?!?! The fucked up thing is that the US code even delineates when the flag can/should be displayed upside down.

I'm not sure that site will be around much longer. They have NO insider information right now. And, they are pretty much stopping any conversation that is rumor. The site is really a shadow of its former self IMO.

What really pisses me off is that I am banned, yet I get e-mails telling me of the cool things I would get for subscribing. Dumbasses don't know how to check e-mails.

The drama in the pub is still going strong. Slinky is throwing infractions around like an agitated monkey with a truck load of feces. Apparently, since they booted Bari out of the moderators club, a few of the users that he used to lord over have taken to kicking him now that he's not a mod anymore.

So, he must be protected. I think jaggator got smacked as did a few others who only made a comment about "Cougars".

I PM'd the upside-down-flag guy myself and he affirmed that he hasn't heard any more about the issue, but that he's not going to change it. I told him to email me if he gets banned. I wouldn't mind having him over here, even if he's mostly a Too-Hotter.

He's got my email as well so between the two of us one should hear if he does end up getting banned someday.
