I just took a gander over at Whorechump and the stupidity over there is rampant. Par for the course, especially this week. Some dumbasses are claiming that halF asS U actually have a stronger strength of schedule than we do. LOL!

What are the implications of FSU scraping out a 29-26 last-minute win at home against the terrible, terrible Terrapins? They really get a bowl for that? Three 3-point wins against weaklings? They buried BYU -- nice game. Other than that, does FSU have a single meaningful win?

I gotta think that 7-6 keeps Bobby around for another year, don't you? In other words, was last week's win an enormous one?

For me it's " Fuck the Vols" week.

Did you guys hear about the new uniforms we are breaking out for this game? Bill heard about the helmets a few weeks ago but it was really hush hush so I couldn't post it. The helmets are going to be white with a Blue F on the side (the newer sharp F font that you see on the Florida in the one end zone). This is sort of a long video by the Nike rep about the uniform...give me a break about the actual CLOTH providing protection. The only thing it protects them from is to keep from getting dragged down by a defender who gets a hold of their shirt...it's so tight, it's not likely that will happen as much.

There is no doubt in my mind (outside of conference games) that I want this win every year more than any other. It's been what, 4 straight? I hope we get to the point where it doesn't even feel like a rivalry because we've beaten them so many times in a row. A win this week would make Bobby 17-17-1 against UF. Would make me happy to get this win so he doesn't have a "winning" record.

We beat them every year I was in college (83-87)...they were actually no big deal to us back then.

Couple thoughts.

1. Everyone out there saying that the Gators proved that they should be a favorite vs Alabama may be discounting that that's about what everyone did vs the FSU defense this year. Yes, we could have had 50 if we'd left the first team in. But FSU didn't tackle worth a damn. It ain't like our offense is all of a sudden up to full potency.

2. I was happy to see the backups get some field time. Two guys over at my house started saying we were RUTS by throwing in the fourth, and I basically invited them to bite me. We throw the ball.

3. I suspect UF should plan for Ingram.

4. All that said, the Gators are a better team than Alabama and I don't see them losing.

I used to love chanting S-E-C! S-E-C! Looking forward to doing it again. The Gators have never been 13-0 before.

95, I think you slept through a year. It's now 6 in a row (as already pointed out), but Bowden is now 17-18-1 against us.
