season tickets

being in the midwest, i now know a bunch of notre dame fans. most of them are cool peeps. anyway, they are phasing out season tickets and have a lottery for alumni to get tickets. i think that's kinda cool. i'd like the chance to go to a game. i know if i were a season ticket holder, i'd be totally against it. however, it seems like there's a decent chance for their fans to see at least a couple games per season.
anyone know how long the waitlist is for our season tickets? and don't you have to donate at least a couple thousand dollars too? i know i'm biased and not everyone will agree, but it'd be nice if having a degree meant something in acquiring tickets.
