In reading this article about the earmarks in the spending bill, I noticed this one... "$6.6 million for termite research in New Orleans"...um, doesn't anyone think that money would be better spent in New Orleans building up their levies and making better preperations for hurricanes and storms? Duh.

BHO's talking head Robert Gibbs promises that things will be different with earmarks in the future...ooookkkkkaaaaayyyyy. Can't wait for that.

before we criticize, let's give BHO the benefit of the doubt....maybe he intends to redefine what a 'termite' should be...i'm supportive of my POTUS if that's the case. O0

Prior to Katrina, about 25 percent of New Orleans was under active infestation from the particularly nasty Formosan termite.
It's a bit late for fucking research about it. Way to go, Obie.
