as you all know, i'm very leery of paying much heed to 'slanted' typed commentaries/blogs/observations that are laden with insults, name-callings, and derogatory catch phrases...this one actually was absent of all that.

I've stayed away from the news on this one but how many times has "guilt by association" been said on this one? Just curious.

I don't think Obama had anything to do with this and neither does any sane person.

BUT this is a glaring example of Chicago-style politics, an environment out of which Obama grew. This is why his associations with influential Chicagoans was important during the election. Rezko, Ayers, Wright, etc. are all folks with various levels of influence who helped him launch and continue his political career.

Now, Rahm Emanual is tied up in this mess, too.

It might be business-as-usual for Chicago and I have no doubt that Obama will weather this storm handily (there's really nothing there at all). But what about the next scandal? And the one after that? There's bound to be more.
