my daughter plays volleyball.

as i understand it, the libero is a free roaming player who's primary responsibility is to set balls for the strikers to hit....they often wear a different jersey to differentiate themselves from the rest so the ref knows who's aligned properly and who is not.

From someone that knows someone that knows someone in the Meyer family, she is one that wanted to get away from the family shadow and thus is going to GT. I think she could have played at UF from what I understand but wanted to move away from home.

Thanks for filling me in on what a libero was.

I can understand wanting to go away from home. Regardless of how good she is, I think there would be the perception by some of favorable treatment towards her.

Georgia Tech is a good school and we all know Atlanta is a great town. My FIL wanted to play at Ga Tech his whole life until Ray Graves started recruiting him. Good for her!!!
