media is all over the 1 and 2 matchup in atlanta...would hate to see us lose to the noles.
is this mailed in or are we at jeopardy looking beyond?

i would have thought that Vandy was a perfect set up for a fall. i mean coming off of the huge game against uga and going on the road against a decent team i would have thought we'd be ripe for an upset or at least a real test. meyer had them ready. again we're on the road and i think that may actually help some. i think it's easier to focus when you get away from home. i think that meyer will drill it into them that fsu is good enough to beat us if we don't play 100% and that the seccg won't mean near as much if we don't do it right this week.
whether that can eliminate the dreams of secc and crystal footballs from the players heads though, i can only hope.

This team is different from any other UF team I've ever seen. They will be ready for FSU and won't be looking to Atlanta like the media is doing. FSU can certainly beat UF if UF doesn't play well.

I certainly hope that Meyer can keep them focused for this game. FSU can definitely be a spoiler for us. Count on that. :-\

FSU is not good enough to beat us straight up. They need us to beat ourselves (see: Ole Miss).
That said, this team has a focus unlike any Gator team I've ever seen (football, anyway).
I think it's a slaughter.

Playing FSU in Tallahassee is always treacherous. Get us out of there with a win and no injuries and I don't care much about the details.

I agree. But never underestimate the power of a rivalry game. This has the markings of a classic trap game - we might be looking ahead, and they have nothing to lose. They would like nothing better than to cause us to lose the opportunity to play in the NC game. They will play rough and dirty, but we should prevail.

these kids on both sidelines know each other...they know each other all too well...some have played together in pee wees...some even as teammates.
it's gonna be hard fought and closely contested i think... i wish i had the optimism most here have...i'm not panicking...just feeling 'queazy' about this one for some reason.

rad, I always feel "queazy" when we play the Noles. It is true that the record of both teams does not matter when we play. We have been a spoiler for them, and them for us in the past.
Football being a game of emotions plays a big part in the outcome of this game, imho. FSU has nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Sitting on pins and needles at the moment, but when the game starts, I usually watch it while I walk around the house doing chores. I think I'll get my Christmas decorations down and start that chore. I get too nervous to just sit and watch. No friends coming over to watch this one. Just Marty and I to yell at the tv.

See? No problem! I'm just sorry that we didn't score on the last possession.
Beating the Noles NEVER gets old!
