The only true solution is to let it all collapse then start over from scratch. Nobody has the balls to let that happen, though. Gotta prop up the counterfeit house of cards as long as possible.

I wish it would crash. The whole system. I have enough set aside that I would be able to make a pile of money in real estate if the economy collapsed.

It's easier for us younger folks to say let it fail and build itself back up. But older folks like my parents will lose everything. I think my parents have pulled some of their investments and put it into more secure places, but they would still lose a lot and they don't have the advantage of time to wait for it to recover.

I am more concerned for them than I am for myself. I think Disney will make it through and as long as people still watch and support local football teams, Bill should be okay (although we would not be shocked to see a drop in his business for a while).

If we can't get a business loan to pay back his vendors...so be it. They'll have to wait like we will to get all the money from the schools.
