I saw the midnight showing with my wife's cousin last night.

Totally awesome movie. 5/5. Best comic book movie these eyes have ever seen.

It's really kind of... dark, so it may not be for everyone. Heath Ledger's performance definitely lives up to the hype. His Joker is one of the most demonic, insane and evil villains in all of movie history. Whether he gets a posthumous Oscar nomination or not, his character will be a model for future movie supervillains.

The rest of the cast was great, too, though Christian Bale and Michael Caine didn't really have too much material with which to work. Batman isn't really the central character in this one - it's more about Harvey Dent and his fall from grace.

Make time to see this movie. You'll be glad you did.

I loved it. It was much better than Cats. I'm going to see it again and again.

Kim's getting back from Europe this weekend and we'll probably be checking it out at the IMAX in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait.

I have never seen a movie on IMAX. I might have to google them and find if there is one close.

Terry's got a dude date planned with one of his friends from his previous place of employment. I believe it's an IMAX date.

Fox, is there an IMAX in Gainesville?

The IMAX up here in Tallahassee isn't carrying it, yet, and I find that moderately disappointing.

IMAX at the World Golf Village would be the closest to G'Ville and they are showing it Jimmy

Isn't that in St. Aug?

That's out of my way for sure. If there was one in G'ville I would've stopped in on my way down to Tampa next weekend.

There's one in Tampa over at Channelside, which is right by where you're going to be, Jimmy. If we do get to meet up while you're down, I was going to take you to a bar right there.

I'd imagine the movie is sold out all weekend there too. Just a guess.

You will be fine.

BTW, I have started a stripper/whore donation fund to be presented to Jimmy upon proof of passing score of the Bar Exam. Everyone is encouraged to chip in.

Well, I just know that everyone I know who's currently studying for it feels like they don't know shit. Leads me to believe it's a rather common mindset all across the board. But what do I know?

Jimmy,

I'm watching it in Orlando... Pointe Orlando has an IMAX... In regards to the bar: good luck, buddy. A few friends of mine are taking it. They've been incommunicado for a few months. I'm actually going to Orlando this weekend with one of them in a Uhaul to help them move (took a job w/Orlando Public Defender)
