Tartt, Sanders undergo surgery

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- University of Florida football players Jim Tartt and Terron Sanders underwent successful surgery Monday at the Florida Surgical Center.
Tartt, a 6-3, 300-pound guard, had surgery on his left shoulder and is expected to be fully recovered by fall drills. The rising senior from Sopchoppy, has played in 30 games and 29 starts in his career.
Sanders, a 6-2, 285 pound defensive tackle, had surgery on to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee and is expected to recover in 4-to-6 weeks. The rising sophomore appeared in six games last year before an ankle injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season.
Both surgeries were performed by Dr. Pete Indelicato.
