I'm thinking my only two options are the following:

1. Pull for the Jags, since they have a lot of Gators on their team.

2. Pull for the Packers and enjoy watching Favre upset the Pats, then announce a very well-deserved retirement.

1. I think they matchup well with the Pats. I would rather have them play the Pats then at Indy.

yeah, we're rooting for the Jags as well because of the Gator connections.

Yah, I agree that the Jags present very good match ups for both the Colts and Pats. But I still have a soft spot for Favre. It'd be awesome to see that guy go out with a Super Bowl win.

^^Even if he won the Super Bowl, I don't think he would retire.

I am for the Patriots, because:

1. I am old enough that the novelty of a new champion every year doesn't really appeal to me. Baseball -- I mean, my White Sox won in '05, and that might as well be twenty years ago. It means nothing now. Everything changes every year. So the hell with it. Gimme a dynasty. I'm not a fairweather fan -- I live and die with the Bears and I follow the Redskins since I live in DC. But I respect the way the Pats do things and I admire a team that can repeat in this cash-in era.

But more importantly:

2. I have always hated the Dolphins, especially the pricks from the '72 team with their champagne every year. I would have been so happy if the Fins had gone 0-16 the same year the Patriots went 16-0 -- how wonderful. Let's get an undefeated champion, please, so these Dolphin blowhards can pack up their little tea party and STFU.
