a couple of questions that came to me in light of yesterday's loss (I realize that there are a couple of threads on this, but I didn't want this to get lost):

WHO THE FUCK CAME UP WITH THAT FUCKING GAME PLAN, AND WHAT FUCKING TEAM WAS IT THAT SHOWED UP WEARING GATOR UNIFORMS????? A BUNCH OF PEOPLE SHOULD GET BITCHED OUT AND HAVE THEIR ASSES HANDED TO THEM AFTER THAT PATHETIC PISS-POOR SPECTACLE YESTERDAY!!!!!

Thank you for letting me vent. Sorry for shouting, I'll go back to being a normal human now. I just needed to get that off of my chest.

In all seriousness, WTF happened? Was that Gainesville High School out there? They all played flat, we were manhandled on both sides of the line, the defense forgot what the word tackle means, and the game plan was totally different than what we have seen in the past. That was the worst game I have seen in the Meyer era. Does anyone have any inside info on all of this?

I know I am a homer, but until yesterday, I thought we could go all the way next year. Now, I don't know what to think.

At least I am not as bad as those pathetic fools on Swamp Gas. They must all be apoplectic by now. Did anyone see anything particularily sad or funny posted there? It would be fun to do a drive by just to rile these fools up, but I am sure that everything has already been said. Does anyone have any suggestions on this?

Anyway, thanks for letting me vent.

I really feel like writing Urb a letter asking him WTF was that? Asking why I would risk my life to drive sleep derived from Jax to Orlando and back for that crap. We are still a ways away because of that shit they call a defense.

A couple of things from somebody who's just a fan and is usually high on bourbon mid-way through the third quarter of these games that don't go so well...one, that staff seems baffled sometimes when the game goes off script. Was that the first time in the history of college football that a team has blitzed a quarterback???? Sometimes I get the impression that the adults are leaning on Tebow...like, if things go wrong they've all got their fingers crossed that he'll somehow figure a way out of it.

Two, this team has displayed less heart than their opponents on at least three occassions this season. They've been beaten by teams that wanted it more than they did. That's got nothing to do with talent.

Anyway, what do I know.

No shit - we seem bumfuzzled by everything they did.

The offensive line was just that, and the efensive line had no D.

I saw in the newspaper today that Percy took the loss hard and apologized for the poor team performance...said they would be working on being a team in the off season or something to that effect. There was another article about how this loss may be a good thing (although I against making excuses for losses), in that they realized how far they still had to go (especially the defense).

Personally, I have been a Gator fan for almost 25 years and really, nothing has changed over those years...you win some, you lose some (including Championships).

i really do believe that losing this game was better for the program than winning it would have been. win that game convincingly (like we all believe we were capable of doing) and we end up being talked about with USC and UGA all off-season as one of the top teams in the country. we'll still hear that talk a little bit, but our performance surely toned down national expectations for next year.

i have this feeling, though, that the team has a pretty bitter taste in their mouth following that performance. i'm sure there were a couple guys who were PISSED about the showing. i hope they had a nice come to jesus moment after the game.
