I don't think that reads of coaching changes.

I don't take it that way either, although I would not mind losing one of the DC's. Two people fighting to make choices never works as well as one person. Could you imagine having Co-CEO's of a fortune 500 company?

Bill has been in the Den and Insider Recruiting and hasn't mentioned anything yet. I thought for sure C. Strong would be one of the top candidates for the many job vacancies that are out there. I dunno.
Okay, let's try this!

Yes they do. When I was in Columbia this year I asked some of their fans if they would take him back and they just laughed.

i'm not happy about the prospect of losing Holliday...he's a top shelf recruiter and assistant coach. but this is also bound to happen.

I think Holliday was up for the WV job...I think he's an alum there...but then they made that emotional decision.

I talked to Doc last night. I have known Doc personally for several years. We have fished together many times. He has been offered Associate Head Coaching position with a multi-year contract(which is unheard of for assistants) and 500,000 a year. He is torn but I got the impression he is going to take it. That is close to twice what he is making now. Cade is a huge holdup though. He loves the thought of coaching his son.

Doc should take it. That is a hell of a deal for an assistant.

^^^Agreed. Plus it will put him in as the front runner to take over once their new coach retires. Best I can remember he seemed to be an older guy who can't be coaching much longer.
