Bill is over on Disney property fitting kids for some ESPN all-star high school game. He always enjoys this because he meets some really highly-touted (sp?) recruits...plus, it's a great PR thing for Schutt that they get to use their equipment for this game. Bill just called to let me know he fit Will Hill in the new Ion helmet and he LOVED it. Bill told him to tell Jason (UF's equip mgr) to get it for him when he gets there...Jason will of course buy it from Bill...cha ching.

But he asked him if he was going to be early entry and he said no...he wished he could but he couldn't talk his mom into it. He is really anxioius to get to G'ville. I asked Bill if he made it obvious that he was a Gator and he said, "yeah, I'm wearing my ring (SEC Champ ring he got in 84/85)...LOL. But it is a good ice breaker and helps that he can say he's been around the equipment for that long of a time.

In any case, he said Will Hill was really nice guy...very smart and well-spoken etc. I'll keep you updated on others he meets.

that's great al. will hill goes to a really tough school in a real tough part of town. most kids from that area of NJ don't make it anywhere.

He also met the stud QB that is going to FSU...he said his parents took a picture of them all and took his card to send him the picture. Bill said they were actually quite nice. He also met a bunch of others and is hopeful that they will all like the Schutt helmets so he can start to sell more of them to UF.

Bill said he PM'd Hollywood Bob and gave him some scoop on who is rooming with who. HB seemed grateful.
