Definitely need a link. I saw where they said that 50+ players were going to be named in the report.

Now what does baseball do with these cats, since steroids weren't illegal at the time?

Awful suspicious. A bunch of prominent Yankees are going to be named for steriod use by a guy that is part owner of the Red Sox who did the report. Never would have guessed it.

To have George Mitchell who is associated with the Red Sox investigating other teams is a conflict of interest of the highest degree. Especially considering EVERY WORD of the report is hearsay. He had NO subpeona power so nobody HAD to volunteer anything. He basically just asked really really nice and a bunch of Yankees got thrown under the bus. Hmmmm.

shouldn't have a bunch of cheaters on your team. We don't know how many Yanks are in the report yet nor do we know how many Red Sox, at least hold off until we do.

Either way, it should come as no surprise that Clemens is a user. Got better in his 40s and had got exponentially bigger. The same people that ragged on Bonds gave Clemens a pass, glad to see that will (or should) finally stop.

I'm not surprised, though, that TT, the big Yanks fan is a little pissy about this.

Just watch and see how many Red Sox players are on the list. There will be one or two and they will be minor leaguers who never had a shot at making the bigs.

Trust me when I tell you, they were ALL doing it. I could care less eitherway. I just think it is a huge travesty to have someone connected to a major league team doing this report. It would be like having Bobby Bowden or Mark Richt do an internal report on the Gators that was done behind closed doors. Bobby walks out and say that every Gator has raped women, they all smoke weed and cheat on tests. You have ZERO way to verify the info and then it is out there for all to see. You are an intelligent guy, does that sound right to you?

Let me ask you this. If David Ortiz or Manny Rameriz(sp?) names would have surfaced during this investigation and Mitchell has a vested interest in the Red Sox, do you think he would put their names in the report? HIGHLY doubt it.

ARod and Jeter will be the next two names that surface. Funny, all Yankees but Hater thinks I am being a Homer. Someone PM me when a Red Sox name surfaces.......

more like Richt doing a study of College Football, and saying those things about UF, to be correct in the analogy.

then hank steinbrenner should've stood up to participate in this investigation instead of george mitchell....but we now know why he wouldn't.

Do we?

Why have NONE of them tested positive. Other big leaguers have. Do NO Yankees get tested?

What about Curt Shilling? He kept getting better as he got older. Is he on roids?

This whole thing is a joke

IMO, I do think Shilling is a roider.

Pettite, so far as I've heard, is only mentioned in that he had the same trainer as the one who supplied roids. No mention, to my knowledge, of Pettite being supplied as well.

Jeter would not surprise me, but ARod kind of would, and it shouldn't. I've heard several media people state that he is one of the few that has never been under suspicion by media or players.

I'm hoping ARod's name is NOT on the list. I would like to see Manny Ramirez on there though...

just keep Chipper's name off and I'll be happy.

oh, and TT, you're (for the time) overreacting. You may have an argument when the rest of the names come out, but for now, just sit and wait. Mitchell, according to everyone who knows of the guy has an impeccable reputation and would not hold back a name just because he's a Boston player. Of course, we'll never REALLY know, but I'd like to think he'd out one. Let's wait and see is all I"m saying.

besides, I don't think anyone believes that the ONLY these players in the report are the ones juicing, these are just the ones that got caught. You can claim hearsay, and that's fine, but tell me you don't believe it to be true w/ whoever gets mentioned. Just because it isn't everyone doesn't make the ones who are outed any less guilty.

It isn't going to matter eitherway. None of these guys will be suspended. By the time the Super Bowl gets here, all of this will be forgotten about.

Like I said before, I could really care less if they took steriods. They were ALL doing it, a juiced up hitter was hitting homeruns off of juiced up pitchers. I think the guys in the 80's and 90's were doing it way more than guys are now(steriods). I think HGH is probably used alot now.
Look at Nolan Ryan, dude was throwing 106 all those years ago. People can't throw that hard now with the technology and training regiments that are availible today, how the hell was he doing it back then.

I agree, TT, that's why I've never been in an uproar about Bonds or any of the others, really. The only reason I was happy about the Clemens outing was it seemed he always got a free pass and I was never sure why.
