Is anyone on the Rivals recruiting site talking about a Huge recruit that is switching to UF. On GC there is a poster who swears that he has inside info about a recruit that is setting up a presser to switch his commitment to UF.

Bob has chimed in and confirmed that he has heard the same thing behind the scenes. Nobody is naming names though. Can you see what you can dig up on your site, or maybe if anyone has a scout membership they can see what those insiders are saying.

FWIW, Heisman is a legitimate insider.

I don't think it is D. Scott. He has never been comitted anywhere. My two guesses are P. Johnson or Nigel Brandham. Both would be huge gets. Other than that nobody has a clue.

The entire process of D'Anton Lynn's recruitment has been a whirlwind of activity. He went from an utterly unknown player to one of the few players in the country holding offers from the likes of Florida, USC, Oklahoma, Penn State, and Ohio State in just a matter of weeks. He then fell somewhat off the radar before taking a flurry of visits that will be concluded this weekend as he watches the Gators lock up with in-state rival Florida State.

According to internet rumors Lynn could have a decision in the very near future so what does the three-star defensive back say of all the talk?

"Yes sir, I'm getting pretty close to a decision," Lynn said.

The talk had been that he could make his choice between Oklahoma, Florida, and Penn State as early as today and though that clearly won't be happening. However, following his trip to Gainesville it could be right around the corner.

"After this weekend we start playoffs and I'd like to have my decision made prior to playoffs starting," he said. "I'm not sure I'll announce it by playoffs, but I'd like my mind to be made up."

Lynn wouldn't tip his hat about which school he was favoring but after already taking officials to both Penn State and Oklahoma it seems he is simply ready to have everything over with as his team is one of the favorites for a state title in Texas, after winning the small-school 7-on-7 state title last summer.

At this point in time he is sure he'd like to decide but isn't clear on when, or how he will announce his decision.

"I'm not sure how it works, I've got to think about announcing or whether I'm just going to call the coaches and let them know."

heard today that the recruit in question is Patrick Johnson. I'm not entirely sure of the accuracy of that though. I will try and figure out the rest of it later.
