feel free to add your own

just got this game about a week ago. tuned it up to it's second highest setting for challenge

I'm 3-2 going into LSU (switched troy out for michigan and beat them at the big house)...ranked 16th...lost to UT and auburn on guess what....last second field goals sans the chomp.

kyle jackson is a beast in the game...estopinan is a force...kehstan moore is an animal and my oline is swiss cheese...harvin is going for the heisman...mcfadden, colt brennan, some dude from oklahoma state, and mike hart are too.

it's a great game...love the florida cheers.

Okay, I'm a noob. Do I need a console to play this game, or is it PCable? Because I could definitely wreck some hours doing that.

i changed the offense back to the florida offense the last several games...am 9-2 (6-2) going into fsu losing to tenn and auburn...tied with usce for the east but win based on head to head...harvin is the lead guy to win the heisman...nebraska/usc bcs championship...i'll have to check on where there project us going...REMARKABLY, they might have us going to the sugar versus ILLINOIS!!!! aj jones is suspended for the year (academics), my recruiting class looks to be eh...i DID sign the highest rated LG, MLB and DT in the nation...lost out on a lot of state of florida quality ball handlers (wrs, rbs, dbs) to nebraska, michigan, and wisconsin of all places...tebow poured it on at the end runnin the option...moore remarkably is averaging a fumble a game .. cooper is out with a rib injury sustained agains carolina...

what a great fucking game! it's addictive like CRACK!

so i'm no longer playing that game cause it's PS2

the PS3 game i'm playing is SO MUCH BETTER...

i'm in tebows senior season (harvin left after his junior year) right now and he was a candidate for the heisman...too many picks and he's now fallen off the face of the earth..got a RS freshman RB who is backing up mon and i can't wait to use him....mon is a beast in the game though so i'm going to have to wait for him to get hurt or something...fayson/cooper are my fastest and best receivers...hernandez has the drops...rickerson and wondy are phenom...spikes is all world (had to beg him to stay for his senior year)

recruiting is kick ass...every week during the season, you have 10 hours to spend on recruiting...you can monitor a maximum of 35 athletes and arrange them in order of priority...the higher the priority on your list, the better the athlete feels which translates into better chances of landing....there are like 14-16 types of things to discuss with a recruit like academics, prestige, stability, playing time, etc...the trick is to find out what interests each recruit and just stick with that topic throughout the recruitment process...then, when they are ready, you can schedule games that they can attend...each week, a meter shows you how well you are doing with each recruit (or how bad you are doing)...it'll also list the schools that are in play and will show you how he feels about each one...seems as if there's a feeding frenzy on all the 5 stars...the difference between 5 stars and 4 stars are apparent in terms of ratings...5s are usually in the 80s and 4s are usually in the low to mid 70s...i recruit all over the country and i'll have some home growns on my list (down on the bottom) in case i can't land the national stud...they have surprises too...just cause you're leading doesn't mean you're a lock...it happened last night...i was #1 for a kid who was a 5 star out of louisiana...i had him priority one and the meter was amped up to the very top...because i only had 10 hours, i wanted to utilize the minutes/hours on those i hadn't really paid much attention to at that point figuring i had him locked...so i passed on speaking with him that week and lost him...lost him to FSU...GRRR!!!!! the recruiting is like crack...can't put it down...i've been top 5 the last 2 years...this year, i think i'm setting up for top 3...USC, Oklahoma and Texas seem to be perennials...this game is worth getting if you have the PS3.

You're getting shitty advice then. There's no reason to not ever have the #1 recruiting class and an undefeated season w/ UF. Understandable if you want a challenge and play as Baylor or some shit, but not UF.

not if you're playing the proper setting...undefeated seasons are few and far between...PLUS - i'm subbing out the 2 early patsies and plugging in top 10 teams not otherwise playing to boost up my schedule...for some reason, the rest of the SEC (besides UT, LSU, and ARK) is unranked...miami and fsu are consistently ranked.

as for recruiting goes...it's difficult to get the out of staters that are 5 stars...i'm told that after year 5, your prestige levels gets elevated and pipeline states start to grow making it easier...but you've got to win your bowls and your rivalry games....RUTS helps too...also - showcasing that position the week a recruit is in watching the game works too...so i had a stud RB in from PA watch me play UT last night and i showed a heavy dosage of running attack that game...the recruit loved it...beat a rival, showcased his position, and RUTS...he ranked his visit an A+ ... highest rating...i suspect that i'll get him....the difference between possibly getting him and not might very well be showing him how i utilized mon williams throughout - we'll see...his name is gerald garcia from jeannette, PA (isn't that where pryor is from?)

EA hasn't released this game for the PC since '99. I used to know one of the lead programmers for the Madden series and he told me that they just didn't think there was enough interest in the PC market to justify a PC version.

I guess it's all those damn frat boys with their consoles who make sports gaming what it is. And the parents of kids with consoles.
