I've always said that car acronyms are slightly funny, because most if not all of them have quite a degree of truth to them...

e.g. FORD = Fix Or Repair Daily, Found On Road Dead, Fast Only Rolling Downhill
HONDA = Hold On, Never Done Accelerating
GM = Government Motors
BMW = Broke My Wallet
VW = Very Worthless
KIA = Killed In Action
Toyota = Takes One Yellow Oriental To Assemble
Chrysler = Company Has Recommended You Start Learning Engine Repair
Dodge = Drips Oil, Drops Grease Everywhere
