Tebow loves the Shockers

In 2010 a crack commando quarterback was sent to Denver by the NFL, but the Broncos wouldn't commit. This quarterback subsequently escaped from a maximum security stadium in New York to a life of relative leisure in Massachusetts. Today, still wanted by an insufferable fanbase and moronic media whores, he survive as a soldier of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire Tim Tebow.

Tim Tebow's career as a motivational speaker has taken him to churches, prisons and schools.

And now it's taken him to a bus parked on the tarmac of the airport in Wichita, Kansas.

Tebow's plane stopped to refuel at the Mid-Continent Airport in Wichita Sunday afternoon, and the New York Jets quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner was on the ground when Wichita State's charter plane - carrying the basketball team, pep band, and cheerleaders -landed. Tebow joined the team on the bus before the Shockers headed back to campus.

The Shockers upset No. 1-seeded Gonzaga Saturday night in Salt Lake City and will play in the Sweet 16 next week in Los Angeles.

Wichita television station KSN posted a short video of Tebow's speech on its website.

Tebow told the Wichita State players about a speech he gave his Florida teammates at halftime of the 2008 BCS Championship game, and told players that no matter what happens in their professional careers, nothing is greater than these college moments.

"Some of you might go play in the NBA and have great lives, but this is the time you'll remember. All of you out there, balling together, training together, putting in the heart and the sweat and everything, caring about each other," Tebow said. "You'll never forget."
