Georgia fans seem pretty pessimistic

Instead of just going on a rant.
Well after last night i'm more convinced than ever we need a coaching change in Athens and we need a culture change. Took a career night from Murray to beat a 1-6 UK team by 5 points SMDH. The lack of displine and effort on part of some of the defense was unbelievable. Rambo tackling people 4 yards out of bounds and TJ Stripling getting a personal foul for getting into it with UK players! Freaking UK PLAYERS!. As UGA fans we've come to expect nights like last night which is the sad part. Love Coach Richt to death but the players don't respect him. In the current culture it is acceptable to scrap by the UK's and Vandy's of the world and be happy. UGA has a mediocre culture set in place right now. It is not accpetable to struggle against a 1-6 UK team that was down to a horribile Arkie team 42-0 at half last week. That horribile Arkie defense pitched a shutout agaisnt UK in a Half.The first 5 years were great but there has been a downward spiral the last 6 years. Stockpiled with talent these past 6 years but little results to show for it. What is it 0-9 against ranked opponents? Sure we won 10 last year but we lost to the 4 best teams we played. No offense to UK or Vandy but UGA should blow them out the water. 2 straight years we have struggled with UK and UK has beaten UGA twice in the past 6 years. Let alone we had a whole 2 weeks to get pissed off and play with fire after seeing Scar lose earlier. Right now Rambo's ass needs to be on the bench as far as i'm concerned.You would think with the prior events and UF beating Scar that our beloved Dawgs would play inspired emotional football realizing they were right in the mix for the East title again but no we see unispired,lethargic,and undiscplined football being played. I've been pretty optimistic but i can't find the faith to believe anymore.

At least you werent on here for the longest time (like me) defending this Crap !! I love CMR as a man. I have NO confidence in him as a HC at UGA any more. He'd probably be good if he down graded to another conference. But he aint cutting it as an elite team in the SEC. We are actually WORKING our way to BECOMING a KY, or Vandy, or Ole Miss etc.
In fairness to those schools At Least they excell in Basketball, and some have pretty good Baseball. UGA is SUPPOSED (we're not) to be a Football dominate school. If CMR does not lose his job at the end of this season BOBO NEEDS TO GO !!! Either fired or demoted to QB coach. And Grantham need's his butt chewed out, I mean SLAP OUT !! If he get's mad and stomps off, BYE dont let the door hit you in the rear on the way out. That's gonna call for Testicles on Mark's part.
He has GOT to man up and be a Boss. Not the coaches older brother. Their Boss. Not the player's older brother.When they dont deliver he need's to be On Their Backs wanting to know Specifics of Why and What are you doing to fix this. Same thing on Position coaches. People need to be held accountable.
I Know he's a Christian. That's ALL THE MORE reason he needs to do a even better job. The Bible does NOT relieve a Christian from doing their VERY BEST and it does not relieve them from RESPONSIBILITY. In fact he's called to do his Very best all the time. I get sick of seeing rival fans and some of our own use Mark Richt's Christian faith as a bashing tool. But I'm also sick of fans using it as an Excuse for poor performance and failure. As a fellow Christian I Expect better from CMR.
I gave my best on my job, I tried to go "above and beyond" what was normally called for from my position, and I tried to do that every day. And I was commendated several times as a result. But I was Also held responsible for mistakes & failures. Most I ever made was 34k a year, Mark make's 2.38 million per year !!!
Mark Richt has a personal responsibility to God, he has a professional responsibility to God and Dawg Nation to give his Very Best AND to be accountable AND to make tough decisions like firing Bobo or demoting him AND chewing Grantham Slap Out. Grantham wont get fired this quick, but he needs to know he's on the Hot Seat. And if he get's mad and show's out and cant handle the butt chewing THEN show him the door.
And one of the Asst. Coaches needs to be ACCOUNTABLE for ST's play. These things are the Only way CMR can hope to turn this team around. Accountability on EVERYBODY with the Dawgs football team, that's the Only way they will make it to the elite in the SEC. GOOD to vent we all need to and deserve to. Dawg Nation deserves a better showing than what we're seeing. The 6-1 record so what ?? Best team we've beat was TN and almost gave it to them. The rest of the teams we played shouldnt have scored more than 10 pts. per game. TRUTH.
