Pease Looking For More Creative Ways To Get Debose Involved On Bench

Offensive coordinator Brent Pease met with the media this morning and stressed how he needed to do a better job of giving Andre Debose more to do on the sideline. "He's just been standing over there collecting dust and that's my fault. I probably need to give him a towel to wave around or let him throw a football with some of our backup quarterbacks." A former five-star receiver coming out of high school, Debose has had a difficult time adjusting to his new position on the bench in Pease's offense. "He needs to be a bigger part of what we do in order for us to be successful, whether it be cheering the guys on the field or seeing if he can drink more cups of Gatorade than our athletic trainer during the game, he's got to get involved and the job falls on me."
