I can't, like, openly cheer for the Phillies for religious reasons, but I must say that there is no way I'm gonna support either the Dodgers or the Red Sox against them. And I'm through with cheering for flash-in-the-pan teams like the Rays. Unless they come from Chicago.

I do wish Joe Torre well, however. Good for him, the old bastard.

I think I posted way back on this thread that the Rays would have a better season than most of you would expect. Way back around opening day.

At the time, I think my sites were set on us finishing above .500 for the first time and being much better in 2009 when all their young talent had some experience and David Price had been called up. Wow. What a freaking year.
