hamels just intentionally walked schneider (a lefty) to get to santana...what's weird about that is :

- schneider's a lefty
- hamels hasn't walked a batter in his last 4 games

Rays just took two out of three from Boston at Fenway. Now we just need to sweep them when they come to the Trop.

I might have to ask Kim's step-father if he wants to try and get tix for that series. He's gotten all into this season. We had dinner with them last night and he and I were yelling at the teevee together during the game.

Rays called up pitcher David Price today, our number one pick overall in the 2007 draft out of Vandy. Aw yeah!

Fine. They're 95-61 and it's a moot point. But it's funny to hear a Mets fan accuse anyone else of sucking in September.

I'm a little more concerned about the White Sox tonight, who have gone to the great Nordic wasteland and resumed their habit of losing miserably there. If they don't come back, the lead's down to half a game.

that's right...you're not playing for anything so the cubbies aren't motivated....

Well, you know, they just bested the NL. Now they gotta figure out how to lose the division series in three games. Practicing up.

Sox lose again at Minnesota. Lead down to 1/2 game. Griffey's got 4 RBIs in the two games and nobody else on the Sox has a damn thing.
