The Mets are awful. If they played in the AL they wouldn't have 10 wins yet.

if they had this same roster in 2002, they would be formidable, but a squad made up of the geriatric overprised has-been's tend to do poorly down teh stretch. i'm surprised how they are just hovering around the .500 mark right now.

Good thing the Yanks called Iam Kennedy back up from the minors. He has already given up 2 runs thru 3. Josh, it looks like your Rays are going to take it to my Yanks again today.

I've got the game up on Yahoo right now, so I can see the updates as they happen. Nice little home stand by the Rays this past week, first against the Angels and then the Yankees. Hope they can keep it up!

And rad will be excited to find out the Rays have already hit two more homers in the game today so far.

Braves are taking it to the hapless Mets at this point...11-4 last night and Chipper went yard for his 398th career HR...hopefully he gets to 400 this weekend when I'm up there. Sucks he got hurt all that time...he could have a legit shot at 500 by the time he retires if not for that.
