I remember raggin on UGA about this (prior to Richt)...they would always get these top caliber recruiting classes and then not coach em up to do anything...at least that was my FIL's take.

I agree that the coaches have to be responsible for the problem given the talent we've recruited. Either they did a poor job evaluating guys' potential or they've done a poor job getting them to play up to that level.

^^^Considering all the information we have available to us, and the fact that these kids are being courted by MANY other schools (not just UF), I'm guessing it's the latter.

Agreed that that's much more likely.
