That was our best drive of the season.

Great job.

regarding Toothy's original post...you know, the Vols weren't as offensive as they normally are. They kept playing and didn't quit. But didn't act like thugs or overy arrogant. I even saw a few of them helping the Gators get up after tackling them.

I dunno...didn't hate on them as much I have in the past. Looking forward to pounding on UGA though!

And while Brantley isn't as exciting as Tebow (who is), I really like him as a QB...doesn't make a lot of stupid moves. Misses some reads sometimes but he's a college player, whatawant? But when he got that bad snap, he fell on it...didn't try and pick it up and make a dumb play. Ran for a first down and slid.

Smart kid...like him!

Hater: I'll concede that 166 yards is a nice total, though if you subtract Hines' jaunt, you're looking at a heinous yards-per-carry figure for the backs. Demps: 2.8 ypg. Gillislee: 3.4. Moody: 4.0.

Last week Oregon GASHED the Vols on the ground.

We do pretty well on the sweep. That play works, sometimes better than others. What I can't stand is the absolute inconsistency of blocking when we go between the tackles. Sometimes there's a hole. But sometimes it's a gangbang starring some young ingenue in an orange helmet.

Yea, we're going to have to make big breaks for ourselves against Bama.

I think Addazio needs to coach up the OL and we need to find a true offensive coordinator...of course I have no expectation that will happen given Meyer's friendship with Addazio...

If it weren't for our D we'd already have at least one loss, if not two.

Bama doesn't scare me. Gators played like dogs against them last year and lost by 19. Could happen again. But they aren't scarier players. Our secondary's pretty good, and shutting down Ingram -- someone's gonna do it, he ain't Herschel Walker -- would be a way to make a name for themselves.

I'd put the money on Bama, but I don't think we're hopeless, and the pressure's on them.

It's fucking Tennessee god damnit! They took out SEC title in the 80's. I want to kick their tooth in even when they are down.
I hate Tennessee more than any other SEC team, so I always want to destroy them. I'm just sad we couldn't beat Lame more than once.

Bill was just on Scout's Fightin Gators and said everyone is just bitching about the offense. Nothing changes.

I dunno, man, Bama's looked good so far. Penn State isn't a directional cupcake, and Bama rolled over them pretty easily without Ingram.

I agree, it's not hopeless, but we need the offense to step up, especially the line. Our run-blocking is atrocious.

You know, we're counting yards against the lambs. I begin counting yards today. With all due respect.

Defenders of the running game: without calling you out by name, what the Queen Elizabeth fuck?

Seventeen rushes, seventeen yards at this point.

Zook never lost three straight.
