Now, keep in mind the standard is a "reasonable doubt"...
Is your theory a reasonable doubt? or is it simply a possible doubt?
I realize I'm getting all lawyerly, but...
what is a reasonable doubt? Well, it is not a mere possible doubt. It's not a speculative, imaginary, or forced doubt.
Obviously, that's what it would come down to...and let's not forget that what's reasonable to one person may be merely speculative or even forced doubt to another person. Given the fact that we don't have evidence (yet) of him being on any medications as my story above presupposed, I can certainly see why you would conclude as you have. Being the supreme skeptic that I am, what I consider to be a reasonable doubt I suspect you would sometimes (if not often) find to be imaginary or speculative.
That's what makes the world go round (and why we can have so many lawyers, LOL).

well, got a buddy of mine who went to UF's law school and graduated last year (Wes knows him). Apparently he's got some friends in the Alachua SAO, and according to him there's a good chance this gets knocked down to Reckless driving.
Politics at its best, it would appear.
Yea I would think that you don't move very far up the ladder at Alachua SAO without playing ball in situations like this.

LMAO at LSU freek....on a sidenote, the original video used to make that clip was shot at a store right up the street from my buddy's house in Ormond Beach (I think that's where he lives right now). LOL my buddy walked into the store one night and the owner, who he's friends with, had his laptop setup on the counter and was cracking up that his video had gone viral.

obviously doesn't have his priorities straight. had this happened saturday night after a huge win, i might feel an ounce of sympathy (not really) or at least understand a little more. even better, save it for mid-january. partying on a monday night before your conference championship? dumbass!

And don't they have long and hard practices on Tuesdays and Wednesdays? What the heck was he thinking partying the night before one of his toughest practices? I can't imagine going through one of those practices totally sober, let alone hungover...I don't get it.

ccording to Gainesville Police spokesman Keith Kameg, an officer was dispatched to check out reports of a reckless driver near campus. When the officer spotted the car stopped at an intersection, he noticed the red 2000 Chrysler was not moving through several green lights.
The officer found Dunlap slumped over and asleep at the wheel. The officer woke up Dunlap through a cracked window, but he “would only open his eyes momentarily and then fall back asleep,” Kameg said.
The officer unlocked the door, put the car in park and turned off the ignition. Dunlap got out and “was very groggy and had difficulty speaking and listening to instructions,” Kameg said.
According to police, Dunlap had watery and bloodshot eyes, and there was a smell of alcohol. Dunlap failed a field sobriety test, refused a breath test and was booked.
Idiot. He probably just cost himself some draft-position dollars.
How these guys fail to summon a taxi when a taxi is called for is beyond me. I mean, it's Gainesville. What's it gonna be, six bucks?

would it be an NCAA violation to give him a ride home if he doesn't pay you for gas money?

Toothy, would it really cost him some positions in the draft? Does the NFL consider this a big deal? Since they allow murderers and dog fighting owners to play, I can't imagine this would have much affect at all on the draft (thinking of Andre Smith...the Oline guy from Bama)

He is still on the team. Suspended for todays game but still on the team. I'm guessing that Meyer is going to hold off until after he goes to court. I'm thinking this could lead to Dunlap coming back next year.
