Fair enough. The justification for Stevens would be that they don't want an 85 year old man to die in jail.Mark my words - sometime around Christmas of this year, we will see Bush giving pardons to people like Scooter Libby, Jack Abramoff, Tom Delay, Duke Cunningham, Ted Stevens and others. Bush's pardon list will make anything Clinton did look trivial by comparison.
I'm holding you to this. In fact, I'll give you until Inauguration Day.
