AU and her boyfriend are annoyed with Pam and have been since way back when all the crap was going on. They both PM'd me and were also sick of all the gross flirting between Pam and Bill...they liked me and Weg and hated how we were treated. I'm not going to that thread, btw...but someone please tell me what Toothy said.
And Kyle, I hate that whole "everyone is a winner" crap. We would not have Tim Tebow if kids were not taught that winning is a GOOD thing!

Hear hear. You're all special, and you're all winners, so sit on your ass and let it get fatter, because there's no reason to even compete.

I think that's stupid, but then again, what do I know. I am a Scrooge with zero for rep and my only friends are real.

EXACTLY Toothy...I'm convinced that is part of the problem with childhood obesity...good point! It's part of the reason I don't even want my kids to participate in organized sports...except football. I don't know if it's like this everywhere buy my neighbor's boys were in football this year and they were brutal with those kids...they practice as much as high school kids and if they miss a practice they don't get to play, etc. Competition is high priority. One of the many reasons it's my favorite sport.

shit, when I was kid (which wasn't too long ago) every sport I played in was cutthroat...win dammit.
except soccer...which might be why I hate it so much.

Believe me, I know where you're coming from: if you dressed, you got to play two quarters.
But in my AYSO league, soccer was serious business. And my high school team was 10-2-2 and 11-2-2 my sophomore and junior years because of it. I shredded a knee -- ACL, menisci, the whole nine yards -- before my senior year, or we would have been state champs. As it was, my team made it to the state semifinals.
This is why I defend soccer against you bigots: because I have given blood to it.

So exactly how does repping or not affect your life anyway? As for the rest of it if the shoe fits......

I, on the other hand, don't want it to be like that.
I reserve my right not to stay off the rep threads, because I was taught that when you don't like something, you stand up and say so.
And I can assure you, assure you, that everyone is not happy.
But it's a good thing you are.
Have a really nice day.
