I havent even looked at football for next year yet.Always basketball season to watch but I just looked and depending on who they fill with some of their bye's 6-6 seems about right. If the season goes next year like it did this year there will probably be some upsets so who knows. Jimmy what you might not realize is that Im pretty content with being competitive in the SEC with the chance to at least win the games in the end. Being a UK fan for so long Im used to the 73-7 games back in the 90's against Spurrier. Back to Back bowl games for a program that has been so bad for so long as you like to point out is a good stepping stone. Programs coming out of severe probation aren't built overnight. Rich Brooks is doing for us what I think he did for Oregon in the late 70's and through the early 90's. Football is gaining and in a few years and after snagging a couple more All Americans in basketball that program will be back. Like you have like to point out the difference between UK being happy with a 7-5 football season and people getting fired in Gainesville for the same is how we feel about basketball. UK doesn't get fired up for Sweet Sixteens or Elite Eights. The SEC gap in talent is closing in all sports and that is good for the conference as a whole.
