There are other players out there doing what Tim Tebow is doing but since they play for other schools or schools in "lesser conferences" they don't qualify to be worthy to the GatorNation. Tommy Frazier in 97 was the next great thing( I think UF remember's him)or Charlie Ward even. Every couple of years there is the "next big thing in college football" Rocket Ismail took over games being a kick returner (original Devin Hester) Honestly if UF had a halfway decent running back would Tim be counted on running the ball so much? I guess everything is just peachy with the orange and blue tint if we are using the color wheel.

so your saying you have to put up TT's numbers on a truly shitty team in a lame conference? otherwise he's only a product of the system and isn't really anything special? tommy frazier, charlie ward they were on good teams with other options and good defenses that gave them more opportunities. and even with all of that neither of them put up the TD combination that TT has this year. i think the fact that he's done this in the SEC makes it an even bigger deal. being in a lesser conference against lesser talent would only serve to minimize the accomplishment.

If you want to see some banners and trophies Josh you should take a trip to Rupp. I lost count after the 42nd SEC banner and 7th National Championship. Hold onto those back to back trophies because its going to be a while

You all built a heck of a team and tradition before you would allow in the black athlete. Face it, Joe. As things stand RIGHT NOW, UF is your equal, if not superior in both football and basketball. It burns you. It burns you because you thought that even though we'd stolen your limelight in basketball you'd get it back in football with your beloved Andre. When that fell through and he was outshined by our Heisman Trophy Winner it just frosted you more. It further frosts you that Tebow continued to shine while Woodson looked in the mirror and realized that yes, indeed, he does play for kentucky and went back to his mediocre ways. Tebow gets his deserved praise and no one outside of Lexington even mentions Woodson's name. I understand why you're angry and bitter, I just don't think it's very healthy for you.

I do hope, thought, that Woodson can put his shit together and thump these motherfuckers I live amongst.

This has nothing to do with Andre, I know that two years ago he was beat out for the starting job by a guy that just now became academically eligible again. My favorite nickname for Andre was fumbles. Hell Im surprised he has done as well as he has. Florida is no where near being on an equal stage as UK in basketball, never will. Teams get hot here and there. They come and go. UNLV, Michigan(didnt they make a great two year run???) Billy D had a once in a lifetime class in the 04's. Don't get ahead of yourself proclaiming UF a basketball dynasty yet. This has nothing to do with being jealous, angry or whatever. Being 7-5 in football and going bowling back to back in football is something that UK football doesn't do quite often. I wasn't the person to bring basketball up in a football forum or thread so if you want to stay on topic here don't look at me. I love how UK is portrayed as this big racist school(didn't UK hire the first black head coach in the SEC in basketball?) Kentucky was in the south just like Ole Miss and Miss St for example so that's a pretty lame argument. This has to do with Tim Tebow and the media man crush the whole industry has. I might be a biased UK fan but I think the leaning towards the GatorNation on here is just as strong or even stronger.
