it don't matter - the mets suck.

I feel your pain. Although, the Yankees have had horrible luck in the injury department this year. The starting pitching is atrocious, sans Wang.

fuckin melky seems to be hittin HRs every time i look...he's on the juice.

He has been a pleasant surprise this year. He is also batting in the one hole most of the year, which makes those HR's even better.

it's a 2 edge sword moving smolz to the penn. good that you add a wicked arm down there, but bad because you take that arm out of the rotation. the question is....do the braves think they have enough pieces in place to make a move and grab a few pitchers for this season and make a run at it?

well, Hudson is good, Jurrjens has been a pleasant surprise, and Glavine is tolerable. I'm ok w/ that 1-2-3. If we can ever get some kind of use out of Mike Hampton we should be ok in that regard.

Braves finally pull out a one run game. Coming back from being down 4-1 in the fifth, they pulled it out 5-4.

Chipper got a hit, but lowered his batting average to .419

I'm hoping Carlos Pena's bat gets hot again. He started the season well, then had a slight injury and hasn't hit well since. He said in the paper today he felt like he was pressing a little bit, so Joe Maddon sat him down last night and told him to just relax and have fun with the game. Hopefully, that works for him.

I like the Matrix-style revolving camera. If he can't hit it big, maybe you can be a cinematographer.

Dammit to hell.

Braves are 14-4 at home...and if they can't come back from down 3 runs right now they will be 4-14 on the road, with the second leg of a double header this afternoon to give them a chance at 4-15. I've never seen such ineptness out of a (supposedly) good team.
