wachovia gettin bailed out by the FDIC

by negotiating a deal in which citigroup purchases their banking operations.

wachovia stock went from $10 down to less than $1 on the news...was already down a shitload when it closed at $10 on friday.

I said this in the other forum but we have a HELOC with Wachovia...I have no problem with my loan getting taken off the books for them. Har har.

Crazy times. I also have my mortgage with CitiMortgage, so now I guess it will all be together?

your loan won't go off the books...you'll just owe your money somewhere else.
