seems like there's been nothing but glowing praise for all things Gator football from the fine folks over at Ray's little world. now, i love good news and stories of how great every position and coach is....but....

especially since HB left, there have been story after story of great Gator football news.

-or-

are the Gators that good and i'm just nitpicking?

GC has never really been a place of negative articles. They've always put a positive spin on things. That is why it's a fan site and not a news organization.

In reading some of their articles, they are just talking about what the coaches are saying, which has been positive lately. They aren't actually at the practices because they are closed to the media. Once the season starts we will see if they say anything negative or not.

I think it's both. However, they have been saying that DT is not performing well and have expressed some concerns in the secondary in their latest insider buzz.

That said, you can look at the talent on our roster and see we're good everywhere but those positions.

I do think UF will be better next year. I think we will have an amazing backfield, thus making our offense probably the most potent offense ever. The defense is the huge question mark though. Will the young safeties and CB's be able to play? Will we have a pass rush so the other teams QB's can't bake a cake while waiting for their WR's to get open? We will see very soon.

Oh, and we are probably deeper than we've been at most positions since SOS was the coach.

i think we'll be better too, and improved in every major defensive position category. but it's the overflowing of the positive spin...it's too much good news.

i s'pose it's a good problem to have.

like Todd said, though, most of their news is coming from the coaches. Usually Meyer is not this glowing. I take that as a good sign

i've been reading GC faithfully since SOS days and i don't ever remember this many good things said about our team.

i haven't thought of the fact that the info is coming straight from the coaches. good point.
