I have personally solved the mod crisis.

MusicCityGator, TBLightning, G8RBrave, GatorGrowl, JAWS

If you want to cease moderating the forum then get a replacement

As for me, I am fixing to go in there and clean house.

jaws is one of the original gatorcountry'ers...he was a mod back when...he joined the first splintered group named the bizarro pub (BP)...he along with darth, along with basketball mod named paulgator22, and a tech guy named gatormarc compromised our 'exclusivity' in OUR private forum named the old bizarro pub (OBP) and started posting stuff about us in the BP...we splintered and it's been a battle royale ever since.

I am very upset about this as I was hoping to see my farewell PM posted.

I didn't save it but here is a close approximation.....

Dear GC Mods,

I was very upset to see I was banned from GC. I have very much enjoyed my time on the boards and the wonderful people I have met on them. Had I known the truth about the Pub, I would not have engaged in such childish activities as ' baiting' and 'harassing moderators'.

After reading the posts of your moderators in the forum, I should have realized how gay-friendly the Pub was. As a bi-curious man, I would love to have another chance to associate with them. We could exchange LOL cats, talk about the Lifetime Channel, and maybe go to shows together (Mama Mia is coming here soon!).

I realize you have many important threads to moderate, so I'll keep this short. Keep up the great work, mega-rep points to you!

I hope all you rep is positive and you triple your casino cash.

I fully expect that Manny will be "accidentally" given access in another way within ten days and his existence on the fringe of sedition will continue. I"m just sayin'. I find such activities suspicious.

^^I agree BG. I also think it is very suspicious, and troubling.

For those of you that were mods at one time, was it like that for ya'll in the mod forum? Similiar discussions, etc.? Just curious. I wonder if someone was "accidently" give access when ya'll were mods. Just wondering...

I can only speak to my experience but up until that "raid" by the BP, there wasn't much talk on the Mod forums....mostly if there were comments about posters it was about someone in the sports forums talking smak and stuff like that. A few times someone would post something too risque in the Pub and a Mod would post that they deleted it and sent the poster a PM.

When the "raid" was going on, most of the bad nasty stuff was happening to Matt and pretty much the leadership kept saying to hang in there, they would be gone soon, etc. They surely didn't have the venom for the BPers that were being horrendous to the Pubbers (especially Matt) as they do for us in teh BA. They didn't defend Matt one bit which is why it amazes me that they are defending Bari against mean ol' Mom7 who called him a "Grouch"...I am so just so malicious, huh?

Whatever. I still go over there and I am so mundane and benign (sp?) that there is no way they can say anything about my posts.

Didn't the "leadership" invite the BPer's there to instigate the "raid?" That was my understanding at the time, and I remember being really surprised that the "leadership" would allow that. It was vicious, and went waaaaay beyond fun.

^^^Yep...I'm not sure if they every really admitted it though...maybe Growl admitted it in confidence to Rad through IM or phone...I don't remember. I know Rad does though. Just silly. I like GC and the Pub for the most part, but I learned after all that I need to be very careful about how much personal information I give out over there. I'm still probably not as good as I should be about it, but about some things, that ship has sailed. People there know I work at Disney...some know about my FIL and such.

Anyway, I don't have the trust over there anymore for anyone. Not anything like what I have for you all...well, most of you anyway...JK :wink:

some of the low level leadership there 'paulgator22', 'darthg8r', and 'gatormarc' to name a few initiated/encouraged it on the BP boards...not really clear if that was growl/solari's idea...but they didn't thwart it let's say.
