Are the Yankees still in last place in their division? Someone remind me.

And have any of their pitchers gotten in trouble with MLB of late for dirtbag actions? Just checking.

You hit ours, we are going to hit yours. Too bad our shitbag pitchers don't even have good enough control to bean someone.

The Yankees are 5-5 against the Rays. I wouldn't call that being their bitch by any stretch of the imagination.

^^^i got to get it in now because it's likely that i won't have the 'rays have a better record' argument. i hope you understand that as a florida baseball fan, we have to get our licks when we can.

The Yankee bats are finally heating up. Four straight wins.

O-8 Barry Zito bitch slapped the Marlins last night. He certainly returned to his old form last night.

went to the marlins game saturday night w/ couple friends, queenie and parents, it was ppd. so, i took my voucher for a free ticket and went solo yesterday for hte first game of the double header. packed a sandwich, few apples, peanuts and some water. the first game was terrific and entertaining, the second game i found myself 20 rows behind home plate and that game was great.

marlins won both games, the second in more dramatic fashion, 2 out bases loaded single to win in the bottom of 9th.

marlins play mets, phillies and braves over the next 10 days on a pivital road trip.

Been waiting for the Dodgers to overtake the 'Backs for first in the NL West, but it ain't going to happen when half the damn team is on the DL.

Cubs trail 9-1 in the sixth, win 10-9; two pitchers used as pinch-hitters; I'm beginning to think that this Piniella assclown might not be such an assclown after all.

I went to the Rays game last night. It was pretty awesome. Bottom of the 9th inning, game tied 1-1, Cliff Floyd comes to the plate as the first hitter and hits a homerun on the first pitch. The place went nuts!

a1, when I lived in Venice/Sarasota in '98 I went to about a dozen games during the inaugural season. Couldn't remember what was uglier, the rainbow-looking unies or the Devil Rays' play. I hated the domed stadium atmosphere but I loved going anyways. What can I say? I love baseball - especially going to the games. Does the infield rake crew still drop their rakes during Buffett's "Fins" to do the fins-to-the-left, fins-to-the-right deal? I thought that was awesome!

news, I didn't see them do the dance, but then, I was going and buying beer and smoking cigarettes between a few of the innings so I may have just missed it. One of the people in the group I was with did comment about them dancing at one point when they came out with the rakes, so I might have just missed it.

And funny you should mention the old ugly unis. Check out this column from Fox Sports which calls the Rays "America's Team" and gives 9 reasons to root for them. Reason number 8 is the fact that their new unis actually look cool!

Yanks-56
Rays-54
Mets-52

Mets have made a huge push in the HR department lately. They have made up around 10-12 on both the Yanks and the Rays.

The Yankees get 3 runs in the bottom of the ninth to come from behind to beat the Jays. Back to .500, suck it, bitches.

Red Sox whipped Rays on scoreboard....Rays whip Red Sox literally.

Braves take 3 of 4 from fish...need a good showing this weekend against Philly.
