is viewable by anyone. It also will tell you who is on-line even without being logged in. If you are not logged on and go to the sign-in screen and click on chat, everything is still viewable.

Well, raise my rent. You are correct. For now, I'm just going to remove the Chat link from the index page. I'll find a better fix later.

OK, I think I fixed it so you have to be logged in to view the chat box.

FWIW, the prosilver board is available and has the chat room on the Board Index page, saving you from having to go into the chatroom to see if anyone is posting

I can enable that for subsilver as well. In fact, that was the default install, but I chose not to do that because you could see it if you weren't logged in.

Now that I've figured out how to require a login for the index page, I can put it on there. Give me some time, though.
