the rims do appear very unforgiving today (for both teams). it seems as if you hit any rim at all the shot has no chance.

WOW....36-9 We went on a 23-0 run to go from 11-6 to 34-6. Vandy hit a pull up 3 and we went right down the floor in about 2 seconds and got a Speights dunk. Vandy is on the ropes folks...time for the knock out punch. 7:04 still to go in the first half.

I have to admit, I had little faith we could beat Vandy. I'm pleasantly surprised by this game.

I heard Billy on the radio after the game. What he's looking for is how the young players deal with success, especially given that they're going to have a week off and they'll be hearing how great they are from everybody. He wants to see if they can keep their heads level going into a game with a big, physical Arkansas team. We're seeing these kids grow up.
