Hodge just fouled out...he had to...
25 seconds...we're down by two (84-82).
Ole Miss' big guy at the line shooting two.

missed second...
Calathes length of the court shot...was on target but too strong...
damn.
89-87.
FT and points in the paint will be your difference makers in this game.
First half was miserable - but they actually showed a little grit and determination in the second half (particulary Parsons and Tyus) of which I was most pleased.
Overall, despite the loss, a young team went on the road against a ranked one loss team and damn near scraped back after being down 15.
Some typical Freshman mistakes down the stretch and a ton in the first half, but I suppose those are to be expected this year.
If the second half would've been like the first I would be very worried, as it turned out, I'm obviously disappointed and not happy with the loss, but I'm not worried about the direction of the team at this point either (save Speights - who continues to be outclassed inside).

Solid effort tonight from the Gators. They didn't quit when they easily could have. Very proud of them in their effort. UF basketball is going in the right direction.

That gym was rocking pretty much the whole night, no? I would be, that's for sure. You got the 2 time defending champs coming in, the reigning big dicks. But Ole Miss is ranked? And our young guys go in and fight back once they get punched in the mouth for 20+ minutes? I absolutely agree about the direction of the team. Love it. We're going to struggle and we may not win a championship (never know about that SEC tourney with the draw and matchups) this year, but it will be a solid effort, that's for sure. And I really enjoy watching Billy actually be forced to teach during games again.
I've never met a retarded person who wasn't smiling.

Our boys must have made a game of it. Last time I saw the score we were down 11. Then I saw we only lost by 2. I'm encouraged with a solid performance on the road to a ranked team.

is rebounding the issue it appears to be. i haven't looked up the stats but it seems we're getting killed on the boards this year.
Can I borrow your towel? My car just hit a water buffalo.

Look at the stats again...UF out rebounded Ole Miss, who is the leading rebounding team in the SEC.

if that's true, then I'm stunned. They seemed to get every rebound, maybe it was just every critical one.
