Finally, this team showed a little bit of resiliance once they were down (by as many as 10 I saw), on the road no less.

Came back and beat the bammers in the second half.

However, still the same problems that we've had pre-04's. Live and die by the 3. I can't figure out why Speights won't take control inside when he can. We also need another option or 3 inside. Oh well. Still a good win for the good guys last night in the conference opener.

Last night was the first time I have been impressed with this team. They showed a ton of heart, especially considering the atrocious officiating.

If they can keep this team together after this year, I think they will be very good.

Great game. Speights was going to get abused last night going against Hendrix, who is one of the top post players in the SEC. I expect to see Mo play better as the year goes on. Not even Noah had a good SO year early.

this is the first game that's been on in my market. i was impressed with the poise when they got down by 10 (twice). Lucas' trey at the halftime buzzer was huge.
watching speights get abused down low made me wish for Al but hopefully he'll continue to learn and get better. agree with todd though, its hard to look good against Hendrix.
overall the offensive rebounds we let them get were nearly the death of us. i really think last night was great coaching. Billy D calmed them down at the half, came out with some pressure and made good defensive adjustments for the second half.

next year we will be very dangerous.
