How Do You Pronounce "Arkansas"?

Seriously. I've always pronounced it and heard it pronounced AR-kan-SAW.

This morning, Les Miles was on my teevee and he pronounced it Ar-kan-SASS.

And you guys tried to tell me this guy isn't dumber than a fence post.

danielson and lundquist pronounce it AR-can-saw so that's how i do it.

I try to pronounce it, or even think of it, as little as possible.
