The family of TM isn't going to want all of his dirty laundry aired. I can't see them going forward with a lawsuit knowing that his drug use, fighting, alleged theft and other stuff is going to come out. He won't be an angel after that.

^ You are correct. And the star witness, Rachel "Precious" Jeantel, is now on record saying that she feared Martin was being stalked by a gay rapist and that it was consistent with Martin's character that he would have thrown the first punch.
