CFL GM says Tebow would compete - to be a backup?!

In 2010 a crack commando quarterback was sent to Denver by the NFL, but the Broncos wouldn't commit. This quarterback subsequently escaped from a maximum security stadium in New York to a life of relative leisure in Massachusetts. Today, still wanted by an insufferable fanbase and moronic media whores, he survive as a soldier of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire Tim Tebow.

CFL GM says Tebow would compete - to be a backup?!

And I think this shows the reason why so many teams don't want to take Tebow on. He's always needed to go somewhere where he could sit on the bench and learn to be an NFL quarterback, but his most vociferous fans start screaming that he needs to be a starter. Putting up billboards, calling in to radio shows, posting on the internet. So the coaches then get questions about it and it snowballs into a distraction.

Aaron Rodgers was able to develop into what he is now because he sat behind Brett Favre for a few years and learned the offense from the coaches. Look at where he is now.
