FWIW, my free month expired a while ago. I offered her some constructive criticism about the site (I didn't really get into much detail) but she didn't give me any more free months.

It pretty much sucked. There's not much activity on the Insider boards - just a slightly different crowd - if anything, the Insiders are more uptight than the regular folks.

I missed your message since I haven't been coming over it as much. Been over at Gatorbait.net most of the time now. Not as much activity as GC, but definitely more than over here.

I was banned for two days without even so much as a warning. Have never even had a warning since I joined there. It was on the 'nothing but net' site during a game. There is a poster over there who never has anything much to say good about the Gators, just one more negative post after another. Myself and others have told him they are young and need time to grow. Others have gotten on him a lot harder than me but duriing the loss to Arkansas I made a post that we weren't playing real well. The little twerp came back with a smart-ass reply aimed at me and telling me to quit my bitching. I then told him to go screw himself. He went crying to the mods and I also told him to that since he needed their help to tell them I called him a freaking crybaby too.

Raid jumped in my case and my reply was simply "whatever'. Gotham banned me for 48 hours, but I won't go back. They have became too damned PC for my tastes and I like Gatorbait because it is more free-wheeling like GC used to be.

I really like Holly and she has tried to get me back, but it's not about her or the other people I like over there. It's about the nature of the board changing. They have the right to run it like they want to and I have the right to not spend my money over there.

Hope you are doing OK and would like to see you over at Gatorbait.

From what I have seen so far they are closer to what GC used to be in the Gator Lounge. The do combine both politics and general bs on the same forum, but that's OK once I got used to it. I believe overall they allow you to play a little looser and to me that is what makes it fun. As far as I can remember I never called but for one person to be banned on GC and that was somebody from another school that was insulting everybody on the board, women and men alike. I generally am not big on banning people just because they break some rules. It's not like the freakin world is going to end over it. I used to post on unmoderated boards and got used to either having thick skin or taking a hike whichever I chose.

I am not trying to belittle everyone over at GC because there is some really good people, however to me in their zeal to clean everything up so as to make the sponsors happy they have taken away what appealed to me to begin with. The sports bords are still really good and Too Hot is usually a little more slack with what you can get away with, but The Pub is nothing like it used to be. I really missed when degator and others poseted on there regularyl even though a lot of times I would just read and not post. Your posts were always entertaing too so it will be good to see you at Gatorbait.

By the way there is a poster called cjgator76 at Gatorbait and although I haven't got the hang of sending messages over there I went back to GC and logged on long enought to ask the poster with the same name who I have always got along with if he is the same dude. Told him I imagined it was him and that you had joined Gatorbait so keep an eye out for you and me.
